Let's go ride a bike!

Every year at this time I find myself anxiously awaiting that first trip to the pumpkin fields, the apple orchards, and of course, the fall children's consignment sales. The month of September has been chock full of things to do almost all of our days.

Last weekend was the first of many children's consignment sales that I frequent. I have found these sales to be so crucial to Cutter's wardrobe. We save so much money by purchasing the slightly used clothing, and at times, the tags are still on the clothes. This past weekend was especially intriguing as it would be the first time I could look through the oodles and oodles of pink that inevitably cloud these events. Boy clothes are always sparse and uneventful -- the feminine counterpart makes up for that meager picking almost ten times over. Admittedly, I did not go overboard, but was much more reserved than I had thought I would be. My mother and Aunt swam decidely in pink to their hearts content.

However, one of the non-clothing purchases that I made last weekend was a three wheeler Radio Flyer for Cutter. For ten dollars I couldn't pass it up, even if he still has some room to grow before his feet reach the pedals. Next spring I know this will be a favorite.

Testing out the new wheels...
