It's been a long week of errands, doctor's visits, runny noses, fevers, and heat. Yet still, my little boy seeks to find joy and wonder in each day.
I want to remember these someday.
-He asks me to go see the chicken with him, and stands in front of her and calls out, "Chicken, oh, chicken!"
-Suddenly exclaims, "I'm so happy, Mommy!"
-The unexpected hugs that follow, "Miss you!"
-When sentences fall into place. *Swoon*
-Memory, memory, memory. This kid remembers everything.
-"Draw circle, Mommy" "Yes, yes, yes"
-Expresses such awe and fascination with birds and calls to them, "Tweet, tweet, birdies come out!"
-"Doggies, Mommy!"
A small snippet of my daily joy.
