Sand Man

Last year my father procured a sand box at a reasonable rate (read: for free) and we used it as a holding place if you will for the majority of last summer. Cutter was so tiny and not quite able to sit on his own yet, and so we put towels and blankets in it to protect his precious noggin and let him roll around to his heart's content. On those hot days, we would fill it with water and use it as a make-shift kiddie pool.

This year, Cutter has far surpassed the milestones of rolling over, sitting on his own, and walking. He now runs everywhere and thus has grown old enough for the requisite child sandbox. We filled it with sand this morning and his eyes grew immediately wide with wonder. A sandbox all for myself?! A better treat there could not be!
