My child is 3 years old today, my furry child that is.

Miss Mia look how small you were on the day we brought you home from the SPCA!

You are the sweetest puppy a girl could ask for. I'm so glad I was able to convince your Dad that even though we were only married for a few weeks, and needed the travails of a puppy like we needed a hole in the head, we needed to bring you home with us to keep Donovan company. He was easily swayed once he saw your cute face.

You and Donovan are like two peas in a pod.

You are still just as soft as you were the day we brought you home and still love to cuddle.

You are a big ham and love attention of any kind, and you love to give kisses. You are an obnoxious sleeper and ALWAYS end up sleeping on your back with your legs raised in the air.

You've grown into such a big girl and adapted to your baby brother (of the non-furry variety) quite wonderfully. You are his protector.
