I'm a Mommy!

I feel like I'm finally getting my feet back under me (figuratively of course) and settling into this mommy thing a bit more. I cannot believe that my baby boy is now over 1 week old - it is absolutely unreal to me how fast the time is going by, and I know it will only get worse! I'm digesting every part of his body and memorizing all of his little faces, noises, and smells before they change again - every day is something new and exciting.

I know everyone tells you that when you have a baby your life will change, your priorities will rearrange, your heart will grow - but all of that "talk" really doesn't prepare you for how much your heart can expand to love someone so much. He is truly my newest male obsession, and I'm pretty sure his Daddy's too. We are so happy to have Cutter in our family and can't believe this little person was growing inside of me for the past practically ten months. I'm working on his birth story so that I have it all written down, though I'll spare all of you the details and work on a concise summary for you, my avid blog readers (all fifteen of you!).

In the meantime, you can humor me as I eagerly show off how cute he is with these pictures. Forgive me for becoming one of "those moms!" I just can't help it!
