Mott's

Lately I have been buying Mott's Natural Applesauce (no sugar added) for Cutter. It's a daily regimen of which he is quite favorable, and until apples are in season and I can make my own applesauce again - it is our most economical option to feed his apple addiction.

Labor Day weekend I ran out to get another 6-pack as we were precariously low in our stockpile, grabbed the intended item, and came home. No sooner had I opened the package that I realized this batch was not suitable for consumption -- there was a white film, and now upon further inspection, I realized that the normally yellow sauce was more of a mustard brown.

I tossed the cup and its contents and vowed to contact Mott's. Complaints were logged and replacements purchased. A follow-up was promised, but I blitheyl dismissed it as company protocol and did not expect anything for weeks, truly months. Imagine my surpise today (merely a week after said complaint) to find a letter from Mott's apologizing for the quality of the product and assurance that my issue had been forwarded to the appropriate department. Mott's consumer relations was highly responsive and incredibly savvy which impressed me greatly. The requisite coupon was included which I will be taking advantage of presently.

You know you want to sing it..."Lots and lots and lots and lots and lots and lots of Mott's!"

I don't know where you grocery shop, but giant has a nature's promise brand with no sugar also. PS. Hope those breads turned out ok (in one try).
