Today I spent the majority of my day arranging the nursery and opening most of the gifts that we had receieved from our shower and taking them out of the boxes. The room looks like a tornado hit it. Steve came home from work and couldn't believe the mess I had made - and for him to clean up. He built a bookcase for the nursery and because he is my husband and I want you all to know how awesome he is, I will of course display his handiwork for you all to "ooo" and "ahh" over. It is exactly what I had envisioned for the space that we have. Now I just have to figure out what will go IN it. That's another post entirely :)
Left to do:
-Steve to build the storage unit for under the window
-Wash the swing and bouncy seat
-Install the car seat
-Few more purchases at BBB and Michael's, and what the heck - Target
-Finish packing hospital bag
-Pick up stroller
I am in serious "baby arrive now!" mode and am getting very anxious and very excited for his arrival. I am totally floored by how quickly these weeks have flown by. Amazing.

To Steve ... "Faffie" (Steve's great grandfather who did carpentry) would be so proud of the bookcase you built. It is lovely, practical and will be a treasured keepsake for Cutter to know his Daddy made it for him!
To Lauren ... I love that you appreciate Steve and acknowledge his hard and creative work! love to you both always, mom/kim
