Last night was the premiere of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince and I have to tell you that it is just as good if not better than the first five installments.
I have been a Harry Potter fan from the beginning. I love to read and the books intrigued me greatly when they were first released back in 1999! Holy cow does that sound like forever!
None of the books have disappointed me in the slightest, and I was counting down the days until this movie was released.
I won't spoil it for anyone who hasn't read the book, but I will tell you - you will not be disappointed! I rarely if ever go to the movies so if I do it has to be entertaining. Even though this movie was 2 1/2 hours long, I hardly noticed at all.
I think the best part of the entire series is that all of the actors have stayed on for each film, so you are able to really witness them maturing both as actors and as their characters.
Hermione (Emma Watson) always seems to be my favorite character and that rang true with this story as well.
Only two more movies left, then what will I do with my summers!

Thanks for the review! I can't wait to see the movie. I have been waiting to see this movie since Novemeber when they 1st said it was going to premier. All I need is my tub of popcorn and I am good for another Harry Potter adventure!!! :) kim
