My Sister's Keeper

I don't know if I have any fellow Jodi Picoult fans out there but just a few months ago I took the plunge and read, My Sister's Keeper. What a captivating read.
There are some previews out now for the movie, but I really don't think I can go see it. Way too emotional! Though Cameron Diaz looks like she captures the essence of Sara Fitzgerald to a tee.

Several friends have read this, but I haven't. Yet.

Thanks for your Gatsby comment. I may slip that in--I forgot to mention that I'm trying to vaguely put the books in chronological order in terms of historic subject matter or time that it was written (don't know where to put The Crucible--in the '50s during the McCarthyism era when it was written or way back in the Salem Witch Trials).

So much to figure out before fall ... and so many great books to read.

Ann,

I am jealous of your required reading list. It is making me want to go back and read through those classics again.

I'm sure you'll choose wisely - from what I read of your blog you are certainly one I would appreciate learning from!

Enjoy your reading.
